Our CSR policy
Whilst we are a commercial entity, many years working in the community sector prior to the companies development has taught the true importance and value of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
At Heaward Solutions the aim of our CSR policy to help our business grow and develop by ensuring positive public relations and adopting high ethical standards. In this way, we aim to build customer confidence and community support whilst also reducing both business and legal risks. Our goal is that our commitment to CSR helps to ensure that the company can make a positive impact on the environment and its stakeholders including clients, employees, investors, communities, and others.
The four key strands of our CSR policy are:
- Ethical transactions – whoever you are we will deal with you in a fair and honest manner. We always pay our bills promptly!
- Full compliance – with both the letter and spirit of the law as well as recognised good standards of governance and organisational behaviour.
- Social investment – Heaward Solutions. is committed to using 2% of our annual profit to support good causes in the community sector. In October each year we select a community partner this will be a registered charity or community organisation who we will support for twelve months. In some cases, this may be an organisation we are working with where we decide to offer our support either for free or at a cost well below our normal rates.
- Environmental responsibility – we will try and ensure that whatever we do we consider the potential environmental impact and seek to minimise this.
Up until the end of 2019, our selected community partner was CARE (Herefordshire) CIC who we have been working with on a reduced fee basis to support the development of a new community gym.
